He is a director and former chairman of the Business Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and a recognized authority on NJ LLC law.

Mr. Fede was recognized in the Appellate Practice area. Mr. Fede’s practice areas include appellate litigation, commercial and governmental civil litigation, municipal law, zoning and planning, real estate tax appeals, labor and employment, employment and other forms of discrimination, probate law, real estate law, and constitutional law. Mr. Fede is a certified mediator in the New Jersey Superior Court mediation program for civil, general equity, and probate cases, and is an arbitrator in the Bergen County Superior Court contract/commercial arbitration program.

The “Bergen’s Top Lawyers” list is based on a peer-review survey conducted by Professional Research Services (PRS) based in Michigan and was open to all licensed attorneys in Bergen County. Thousands of attorneys throughout Bergen were contacted by PRS and asked whom they would recommend within the county in given areas of law. Via an online ballot, each attorney was allowed to recommend up to three colleagues in each legal specialty. Each nominee was carefully evaluated on the basis of the survey results, the legitimacy of their license and their current standing with the State Bar Association of New Jersey.
