Horizon members may now visit Cherry Hill and Voorhees locations for their Urgent Care needs
Patient First is pleased to announce that all six of its New Jersey medical centers are now able to care for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield members. Patient First’s newest locations in Cherry Hill and Voorhees, NJ, were initially considered “out of network” with the insurer.
Effective May 12, 2017, the Patient First centers in Cherry Hill and Voorhees participate with most Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. A complete list of the insurances with which Patient First participates can be found on the Patient First website: https://www.patientfirst.com/InsuranceParticipation2/NewJerseyInsuranceParticipation.aspx.
Participation with Horizon at the Patient First centers in Delran, Hamilton, Sicklerville and Woodbury, NJ, areas has been in place and uninterrupted since these centers opened in 2015 and 2016.
All Patient First Medical Centers are open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day of the year, including holidays. Patient First provides non-appointment urgent care for routine injuries and illnesses, as well as primary care for patients who do not have a regular physician. Each Patient First center has on-site digital x-ray, on-site laboratory, and on-site prescription drugs. Patient First currently operates medical centers in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
