Dan Landau’s drawing will be printed on library cards throughout the summer
PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J.–July 2, 2018–Creative Marketing Alliance (CMA), an award-winning, full service marketing agency, announced today that its content marketing specialist, Dan Landau of Bridgewater, won the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey’s (SCLSNJ) library card art contest.
After an intense social media battle, Landau was selected as the fan favorite in the adult category. Landau’s design will be featured on special edition library cards, available throughout the summer at all 10 library locations. The ink drawing is of Landau’s two-year-old daughter, reading in the stacks at the library.
“I relished the opportunity to enter the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey’s library card art contest and share my love of reading and art with my community, said Landau. “I grew up in Somerset County and am currently raising my family there. When I was young, we went to the library all the time. Now my daughter enjoys going to the library for books and story times.”
Landau joined CMA earlier this year and is responsible for crafting content for B2B and B2C clients’ various digital and print channels. They include blogs, social media, e-newsletters, press releases and magazines. He also develops social media strategies for campaigns.
“Dan is an extremely talented and philanthropic member of the CMA team,” said Jeffrey Barnhart, president and CEO of CMA, which has provided companies with strategic marketing solutions for more than 30 years. “At CMA, our people are our product and our product is our people. Dan’s passion for his community and work encompass the agency’s core values. At CMA, our local community is a central part of who we are. The agency has dedicated more than 2,000 hours to our community, over the past three decades, through volunteer or marketing support.”
“Libraries are unsung resources in our communities,” Landau said. “Books and art encourage critical thinking and aesthetic appreciation in people. By opening a book, we can travel anywhere in the world and beyond, as well as visit any past or future time- period we’d like.”
