Dr. Kathleen Riewe and Annemarie Hofacker Join YMCA Board

The Hopewell Valley YMCA announces the appointment of two new members to its board of directors, Dr. Kathleen Riewe and Annemarie Hofacker. They join current board members; President, Ryan Kennedy, First Vice President, Thomas Finn, Second Vice President, Adriene Presti, Secretary, Suzette Belder-Carr, Treasurer, Daniel Hanley and Members, Michael Baldorossi, Jude Martin-Cianfano, and Heather O’Connell.
“Our newest board members really need no introduction,” said Board President Ryan Kennedy. “As our Y grows, I’m delighted that it can continue to reflect the talent and energy of our community. Dr. Riewe and Ms. Hofacker are already making a positive impact in Hopewell Valley, and I can’t wait to see what they can do for the families that count on our YMCA.”

Dr. Riewe is a Pennington resident and has bee
n a pediatrician with Princeton Nassau Pediatrics since 2009. Prior to joining Princeton Nassau Pediatrics she served at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. , Dr. Riewe brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the organization and looks forward to supporting the Y’s current programing and continuing to promote the health and well-being of kids and families in the Hopewell Valley.

Annemarie Hofacker serves on the Pennington Parks and Recreation Commission and has served as the vice president of the PTO at Toll Gate and a board member of the Junior League of Greater Princeton. Ms. Hofacker grew up in Hopewell Township and has long been associated with the Hopewell Valley YMCA, first as a child in the Y’s rec basketball program and now as a parent whose children have participated in the YMCA’s youth sports and after school enrichment programs. Annemarie has volunteered with the organization’s annual benefit committee for the past 3 years and her husband has volunteered as a youth sports coach.

“We are proud to welcome these talented community leaders to our board,” said Hopewell Valley YMCA CEO, Douglas Pszczolkowski. “With their experience and unwavering commitment to serving our community, Ms. Hofacker and Dr. Riewe will be valuable additions to a strong board dedicated to improving the lives of children, families and adults throughout Hopewell Valley.”
