Jack McDermott, a partner in Archer’s Haddonfield office, has been re-appointed to a third term as Co-Chair of the Energy and Natural Resources Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Section of Energy, Environment and Resources. His new term began September 1. He has served as Co-Chair for the past two terms and, before that, as Committee Vice Chair.
As Co-Chair, Mr. McDermott leads the Committee’s activities in reviewing and analyzing national developments related to areas such as natural resource damages, oil and natural gas litigation, and related areas of litigation, as well as educating members on national trends through continuing legal education programs and articles.
The Section of Environment, Energy and Resources is a leading national forum where lawyers with environmental, energy and resources practices can find the most current information and analyses of issues related to those practice areas, and where they can learn, teach and contribute regarding those issues.
A member of Archer’s Environmental Law Group, Mr. McDermott specializes in complex environmental litigation, toxic torts and products liability claims. He represents companies in the petroleum, chemical and other industries facing claims for all forms of property and personal injury damages, cleanup costs and natural resource damages.
