“The difference between success and failure in starting a business is getting the necessary information to make the right critical decisions,” says Mauro who pioneered njempresario.com. “We are pleased to make our vital step-by-step business start-up information available to Mercer County businesses and others everywhere for the very first time online in Spanish and most importantly on-demand so that entrepreneurs can conveniently access what they need to know before they launch their businesses.”

The NJSBDC at TCNJ (www.sbdcnj.com) consistently supports the Mercer County business community through business counseling, educational programs and events both in English and Spanish. NJSBDC@TCNJ is the one of only a few centers in New Jersey consistently offering a business-counseling program in Spanish for Latino owned businesses in Mercer County via its Latino Business Center Initiative. NJSBDC at TCNJ also holds networking events and LIVE workshops in Spanish throughout the year.

Mercer County area Latina business owner, Puebla Filmaciones, knows how important it is to seek help and is grateful for the support she has received from Mauro and her staff at NJSBDC at TCNJ, “I would recommend to people if you have an idea or want to open a business, take that risk and do it, but it is also very important always to ask for advice. For us the Small Business Development Center has helped us a lot in several aspects, it is very important because sometimes we stay silent and do not ask for help and then we are unable to generate new ideas. Getting advice you need is always important.”
