PRINCETON, NJ, November 3, 2017 – Stevens & Lee announced today that Patricia U. Herst, a prominent estates and trusts attorney in the Princeton community, has joined the firm in its Princeton office.
Ms. Herst brings her considerable experience and reputation for personal service to an established team of New Jersey estates and trusts lawyers, which includes Ann Reichelderfer, Heather Eshelman McCusker and Megan Thomas.

Joining Ms. Herst are three experienced estates and trusts paralegals.
For over 30 years, Ms. Herst has counseled clients on all aspects of estate and tax planning, estate and trust administration, charitable giving and probate matters. She is a frequent lecturer on a broad range of trust, estate and probate topics and presents to both community and professional organizations.
She has served in leadership positions on a number of non-profit boards, including the American Red Cross of Central New Jersey and Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Greater Mercer County, where she is a past president. Currently, Ms. Herst is Secretary of the Board of Trustees for the Princeton Area Community Foundation and serves on the Board of Bucks County Playhouse, Playhouse Artists. She is a member of the Mercer County Estate Planning Council and her local, state and national bar associations.
Ms. Herst worked as an administrator and Associate Dean of Students at several colleges and universities for 10 years prior to returning to school to obtain her law degree.
She received a J.D. from Temple University School of Law, an M.A. from New York University and a B.A. from George Washington University.
